We are parting with our main herdsire to bring in a younger bull to service our herd. His registration number is 39683. He is 5 years old, docile and trained to hot wire. Stays in good condition year round on fescue/clover during the growing season and stockpiled fescue with unrolled 1st cutting hay in the dormant season. He has serviced as many as 60 head in one year but has been covering roughly 20-30 head the past two years. His steers and heifers are easy fleshing, yield well and the meat quality has helped us build our direct to consumer meat business. Calf birth weights have been in the mid sixties fairly consistently. Will have a full BSE before being sold. Let me know if you have any questions. I will take ad down the moment he is sold. Thanks!
